This creates a form of structural fatigue, where institutions weaken over time under the weight of demands they were never designed to carry.
Centralized hierarchies can be slow to adapt, leaving cracks where trust erodes and inequality deepens.
From a Web3 perspective, decentralization offers an alternative: decision-making and resources distributed across many rather than concentrated in the hands of a few.
This model encourages transparency, participation, and resilience, but it also comes with challenges—coordination, scalability, and inclusivity are not automatically solved by technology.
Philosophy asks us to question our assumptions: What makes a structure truly serve its people? How do we balance stability with the capacity to evolve?
By combining awareness of structural fatigue with decentralized innovation, we may design systems that are not only efficient, but humane.
