Even If the Economy Recovers, People Can’t Go Back – A Real Shift from the Ground Level
Introduction
Recent stock market downturns, Trump’s tariff policies, and the turbulence of global economics—
Many news outlets say, “The economy may take a hit, but it will eventually bounce back.”
But as someone working on the ground every day, I feel differently.
The economy might recover, but trust and emotion won’t.
That single truth might better capture the essence of what’s happening—not only in Japan, but globally.
The atmosphere at the ground level is close to breaking point
I work in a laundry facility in Nara, Japan—a job that’s both grueling and invisible to society.
Every day, I face staff shortages, unclear responsibilities, blame-shifting, and meaningless tasks.
On top of that, inflation and a weak yen have made daily life increasingly difficult, draining people’s energy—both physically and emotionally.
While the media talks about “economic indicators” and “market trends,”
what’s really breaking down is human endurance.
A society built on the idea of “going back” is already collapsing
Until now, society assumed that everything would eventually “return”—
whether it was the economy, jobs, politics, or education.
But what we’re seeing now is the final stage of structural fatigue.
Tariffs and monetary policies are just triggers.
What’s truly crumbling is the old model of trust—and what’s emerging is a crack leading to a new world.
Elites talk in logic. I feel it in the air.
Experts on NewsPicks or ex-government officials analyze things using data and case studies.
Yes, they may be logically correct.
But what we feel in the trenches isn’t logic—it’s atmosphere.
The air is thick.
Everyone’s tense.
Smiles are fading.
People are anxious.
This unspoken discomfort—maybe that is the real truth.
That’s why I chose to live through ZONE
I’ve started a new project called ZONE.
It’s about hosting live shows in VRChat, utilizing Web3 and blockchain technology to design a new way of living, free from centralized systems.
Living in Japan.
Owning a company in Estonia.
Collaborating with like-minded creators based in Berlin.
This is not just “music.”
It’s a decentralized survival model that transcends nation-states, corporations, and even currency.
Conclusion
Maybe the economy will recover.
But our trust, emotions, and ways of working won’t go back.
That’s why I’ve started preparing to live in the next world.
And I hope to deliver a light called ZONE to those who feel the same unease.
If you’re sensing something is “off” in the world right now—
maybe it’s a signal from the future.
Will you come to the next world too?
